Man Arrested in Dayton for Possession of Child Pornography

DAYTON, November 27, 2002 - The Dayton Police Department reported today that John Frederick Stewart, age 48 was arrested in the parking lot of McDonald's in Dayton on 18 Felony Warrants out of Hardin County for Possession of Child Pornography. A tip from an alert citizen led officers to Stewart's 1998 Ford Explorer shortly after he and his daughter checked out of a local motel. Stewart was arrested without incident and taken back to Hardin County to face these charges. Hardin County officers and the FBI are investigating this case.
