Why Keep Believing It?

DAYTON, September 8, 2014 – The Bobby Rader propaganda machine was working at full force during the Firefighters Association Cook Off over the weekend held at the Dayton Civic Center.

Rader having received criticism for using Chevy Tahoes as take home vehicles put a 2014 model Tahoe on display at the event and Vita O’Reilly, his webmaster and chief propagandist, placed it on the Sheriff’s Facebook page. The vehicle was marked with it’s price and the price for the equipment on the vehicle. However, the figures just don’t add up.  This is the message they want to get out to the public. However, it’s not true.

Previously i-dineout.com made an open records request of the Sheriff’s Department and obtained the receipt and a canceled check for a 2014 Chevy Tahoe purchased in February of 2014 from Caldwell Country Chevrolet under HGAC contract. The Sheriff’s department paid $46,013.21 for the Tahoe NOT the figure given by the Sheriff’s Department at the Fire Fighters Event.

Below are the comments by some propaganda believers made on Sheriff Rader's Facebook page.

Jan Williamson Well it is a upgrade from when I worked there.Do you remember what they were then.

JamesandCindy Burchfield Omg, this is funny, and ridiculous that ppl get so offended that the county has to spend money, but what would happen if someone called 911 and were told no one could come due to all cars being broke down
