Home Burglary in Liberty

LIBERTY, January 10, 2012 - The City of Liberty Police Department is investigating the burglary of a residence on Bowie Street in Liberty that occurred around 10:30 AM on Tuesday.

According to Police the suspects entered the home through a broken window and injured themselves in the process. They appeared to have exited the front door of the home that was found unsecured.

The Police were summoned to the residence by an electronic burglary alarm and responded quickly.

Nothing was missing from the home and Police theorize the suspects must have seen the alarm going off and fled the home.

Blood samples found at the home have been sent off for analysis.
