| Son Accused of Killing Father in Batson BATSON, August 7, 2012 – Chief Deputy Kenny Davenport of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department reports today that Saturday night around 10:17 PM an argument occurred in the parking lot of the Oil Patch Depot in Batson that resulted in the death of Keallon Enloe age 37 of Batson. Oil Patch Depot is a automotive service business specializing in oil changes and other vehicle maintenance services. According to Chief Davenport Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the parking lot where Keallon Enloe had suffered a gun shot wound from a .22 caliber rifle as he sat in the driver’s seat of his vehicle.
Justice of the Peace Chris Ingram arrived, conducted the inquest pronouncing Keallon Enloe dead at the scene and ordered and autopsy be performed at the Jefferson County Medical Examiners Office in Beaumont. Joseph Enloe was taken into custody, charged with Second Degree Manslaughter and transported to the Hardin County Jail. Joseph Enloe is the 18 year old son of the deceased. JP Ingram set bond for Joseph Enloe at $300,000.00 dollars.
