Liberty County Historical Commission Meets Mon. Jan. 9

LIBERTY, January 1, 2012 - The Liberty County Historical Commission will hold their next meeting on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Parish Hall of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Liberty beginning at 6 p.m. Among other items, commission members will be considering revised by-laws. The current by-laws were adopted in 1992. Additional meetings will be held every quarter, namely: Monday, April 9 at 6 p.m.; Monday, July 9 at 6 p.m.; and Monday, October 8 at 6 p.m. These meetings will be held on the second Monday every three months. Commission officers are: Kevin Ladd, Chair; Linda Jamison, Vice Chair; Darlene Mott, Secretary; and Clarence Martin, Treasurer.

The meeting is open to the public. Commission members are appointed by the Liberty County Commissioners Court.
