Burglary of Motor Vehicles

MONT BELVIEU, February 3, 2010 - The City of Mont Belvieu Police Department advised i-dineout.com today that over the past several days there have been numerous reports of burglary of Motor Vehicles in area subdivisions within the city limits. These subdivisions include fisher’s Landing, The colony, Cottonwood Estes and Eagle Creek.

The majority of the burglaries involve vehicles that have been loft unlocked overnight by the owner. Your police department is requesting that homeowners please be sure to keep their vehicles locked at all times and to be sure to remove any valuables from the vehicle, especially items that can be seen in the passenger compartment.

The Mont Belvieu Police Department is requesting that if residents see any suspicious activity in their neighborhood to please contact the police department at 281 576-2417 or call 911.
