Primary Election Filing Deadline

LIBERTY, January 4, 2010 - Today is the deadline for filing to run for office in the upcoming Primary Elections in March.

If you wish to file as a Republican you can do so throughout the business day at Republican Headquarters at the intersection of Travis and Sam Houston Streets in Liberty.

If you wish to file as a Democrat you can do so throughout the business day at Democratic Headquarters at the intersection of Trinity and Main Streets in Liberty.

The County Clerk’s office will also be open so that those filing to run for election can file out paperwork designating a campaign treasurer.
