American History Coloring Contest

LIBERTY, March 21, 2010 The students from Liberty Elementary School took part in the American History Coloring Contest, which featured pictures on the theme of the Westward Expansion of the railroad.

700 students took part. The winners were recognized with gifts and congratulations. A huge thank-you is due to their art teacher, Brenda Leonard. First, Second and Third place Winners were: 2nd grade:Hannah Blackmon, Jocelyn Nelson, & Ariana Charles. 3rd grade: Lark Walker, Jeremy Medlow, & Noah Candelier. 4th grade: Angelica Lopez, Makayla Clary, & Tyrine Evans. 5th grade: Brooke Moffett, Lesly Torres, & Addie Savage.
