Two Men Apprehended for Burglary

DAYTON, April 21, 2010 - Tuesday afternoon at 4:41 PM an alert neighbor notice two men loading items into their pickup truck from a storage building on a neighbor’s property on CR 411.

The pickup left the location traveling down CR 411 to FM 1409 where it turned north on FM 1409 toward Dayton.

Deputy Michael Nugent stopped the vehicle on CR 441 just off FM 1409 and began to sort out the differing stories offered by the men.

The men were identified as Carl Emmert age 34 and Anthony Urias age 27, both of Dayton.

After considerable investigation both men were charged with Burglary of a Building, taken into custody and transported to the Liberty County Jail.

Justice of the Peace Bobby Rader set bond for both men at $5,000 each. Both remain in jail at the present time.
