2010 Liberty Training/West Liberty Schools Reunion

LIBERTY, September 29, 2010 - The annual school reunion for all alumni of Liberty Training/West Liberty Schools will be on Saturday and Sunday, November 6th and 7th at the Liberty Center(City Hall). Saturday festivities begin at 7:00PM.

This years’ reunion will include a special tribute to all former athletes at our historic schools. Athletes will be inducted into the Liberty Training/West Liberty Sports Hall of Honor for their outstanding participation in various sports. The state champion track and field team of 1968, including the state record-setting 440 yard relay team, will also receive special recognition.

The 50 year anniversary of the Class of 1960 will be celebrated. Hors d’oeuvres/drinks will be served throughout the evening.

We will meet again for Sunday Memorial Service at noon on Sunday. The Rev. Edwin Hardy, Pastor of the St. John Baptist Church, will be our keynote speaker. Lunch will be available immediately after the Memorial Service.

The charge for the entire Reunion Weekend activities is $30 per person. Please join us for a weekend of recognition and fun!!!
