SO Conducts Search for Missing Man

WESTLAKE, January 9, 2010 - The Liberty County Sheriff’s Department assisted by local fire departments are conducting a search of Timberlake in the Westlake area for a missing man. The search started around 10:30 AM on Saturday.

The missing man has been identified as James West who as about 30 years old.

Reports indicate that West went to check fishing lines on Timberlake around 6:00 PM Friday and did not return.

The boat West was using was found this morning overturned and the Sheriff’s Department was notified.
