Wal-Mart Employees Arrested for Theft LIBERTY, December 16, 2010 - On Wednesday December 15, 2010 the Liberty Police Department arrested three employees from the Liberty Wal-Mart. During the recent months, investigators from the Liberty Police Department have been working with Wal-Mart Asset Protection members in an investigation of internal thefts totaling several thousand dollars. Investigators prepared Probable Cause Affidavits and Justice of the Peace Bobby Rader Pct. 1 issued warrants for the offense of Felony Theft for Daniel E. Marsh age 20 from Shepherd, TX, Harry L. Barnes age 23 of Dayton, TX and CaRez Carter age 20 of Dayton, TX. All three were arrested and placed in the Liberty County Jail. A $10,000 bond was set on each person by Justice of the Peace Bobby Rader. This offense is a State Jail Felony and carries a penalty of up to two years confinement in prison and a fine up to $10,000.
