Trailer Burns in Moss Bluff LIBERTY, June 27, 2010 – Around 2:00 AM on Sunday morning a large travel trailer burned to the ground in Moss Bluff at the intersection of CR 1333 and CR 1335.
The trailer was soon going to be the home of Brandie Tucker and her husband and two children. The Tucker family had been going through some bad times recently. Brandie’s husband had been laid off from Dragon in Ames had recently been working with a tree trimming services to make ends meet. The family had moved into a singlewide manufactured home with their in-laws and Brandie was making improvements to the trailer so that her family could move in and have a place of their own when it burned last night.
The Moss Bluff Volunteer Fire Department was first to arrive on the scene and the trailer was fully engulfed in flames. The City of Liberty Fire Department responded to mutual aid Moss Bluff in fighting the blaze.
The Liberty County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting an arson investigation to determine the cause of the fire. |
