A Message from Tom Branch LCEM

LIBERTY, November 22, 2010 - Below is a message from Tom Branch, Liberty County Emergency Management Coordinator.

With this being Thanksgiving week, it seems like the perfect time to publicly thank all of the emergency responders in Liberty County.

With 15 fire departments, 12 law enforcement agencies and 3 emergency medical services, our county has many dedicated and highly trained professionals serving the needs of the community.

A great number of these folks are volunteers, meaning they often leave their own family functions to respond to emergencies both day and night.

We are fortunate to have these individuals in our community and I would like everyone to join me in wishing all of our firefighters, EMS personnel, first responders, law enforcement and all of the dispatchers and support personnel, a Happy Thanksgiving. We really appreciate your efforts !!!!
