Adopt a Dog Today at Sears

LIBERTY, April 23, 2010 - Today Animal Control Officer for the City of Liberty, Tammy Bishop, is holding a pet adoption event at the local Sears store in the North Main Shopping Center in Liberty.

The event ends at 2:00 PM today and Officer Bishop told i-dineout.com that today she has been able to find homes for all the dogs and cats except for two by around 12:00 noon.

The two dogs still left are really great friendly animals and one has two puppies. The puppies are one female and one male.

If you can’t get by Sears today before 2:00 PM, you can adopt a pet at the Liberty City Pound and new dogs come in everyday.

Contact the City of Liberty Police Department at 936 336-5666 if you’re looking for a very good pet.

You must agree to have the animal spade or neutered in order to adopt a pet.
