Liberty County 4-H Shotgun Team

LIBERTY, August 5, 2010 - For the 4th year in a row the Liberty County 4-H Shotgun Team traveled to San Antonio for the 2010 Texas 4-H shooting Sports Competition. The games were held at the National Shooting Complex, July 19th-24th. Representing Liberty County this year were Senior II shotters: John Bond and Jon-Luke Lambright. Intermediate shooters: Haley Lambright, Bryant Nugent and Caleb Hill. Junior shooter: Jacob Hill.

Placing at State were Haley Lambright with a 3rd in Ladies Intermediate Whiz Bang and Jacob Hill in the Junior age division with a 1st in sporting clays, 2nd in Whiz Bang and 3rd in American Skeet. Jacob also won the Junior HOA (high over-all average) for all the American events at the state shoot.

The Liberty County Shotgun Team coaches and parents along with everyone in Liberty County 4-H could not be more proud of them.
