Seaberg Sakson Wedding DALLAS, March 10, 2010 -Dr. Karen Marie Seaberg of Dallas, Texas and Bob Sakson of McKinney, Texas were united in marriage on February 20, 2010 on the beach at the Azul Beach Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The Reverend Robyn Byrd Michalove, the bride’s cousin, officiated. A dinner reception followed the ceremony.
The groom is the son of Elizabeth Sakson and the late William Sakson of The Woodlands, Texas. He is the grandson of the late George and Elizabeth Bowers of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and the late John and Julia Sakson of Duquense, Pennsylvania. The groom is a graduate of Eisenhower High School in Houston and Texas A & M University. He is manager-architect of Technology & Services at Horizon Lines in Dallas. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Sharon Nabhan, of Austin, Texas. Will Sakson of Houston, the groom’s brother, was best man. Kamryn Sakson, the groom’s daughter, was flower girl along with the bride’s niece, Sydney Nabhan. Conner Sakson, the groom’s son, and Rachel Nabhan, the bride’s niece, were the ring bearers. Usher was the bride’s brother, Alfred Seaberg of Dayton. The bride wore a beautiful ivory silk dupioni bridal gown and a tulle veil. The princess seam gown featured lovely bustles throughout the skirt that ended in a chapel train and had a champagne sash around the waist of the gown that tied and cascaded down the train. She carried a hand tied bouquet of red roses. After the Riviera Maya, Mexico ceremony, the couple honeymooned in the Hawaiian Islands. On Saturday, March 6, a dinner reception was held at the Hula Hut Restaurant in Austin, Texas. The couple will make their home in McKinney, Texas.
