Former Jail Captain Terminated

LIBERTY, April 5, 2010 – i-dineout.com learned today that a former Captain with the company that operates the Liberty County Jail, Community Education Center, was terminated from his employment and is under investigation by the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office and US Marshalls Office.

According to Steve Green with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, former Captain Charles Ridge is alleged to have had sexual relations with three female prisoners being held in the jail.

Green stressed that the investigation is ongoing.
