Power Outage in Liberty LIBERTY, November 26, 2010 – Around 2:55 PM on Friday about two thirds of the City of Liberty was plunged into darkness as a result of a power outage according to Liberty City Manager Gary Broz. The outage lasted for about thirty minutes and power was restored around 3:25 PM Friday afternoon. According to Broz a large electrical switch at the substation on Beaumont Ave. was tripped by a varmint who was fried in the process. During the outage traffic signals at major intersections were inoperable. In Liberty this truly was Black Friday in more ways than one. Give us your Feedback about this story!
