Is This NEW Phil or Old Phil? EDITORIAL

LIBERTY, August 25, 2010 – If we all recall the recent past it is obvious that Fitzgerald does things at times that he is ineligible to do, not qualified do and should not be doing.

If you recall Phil Fitzgerald acted as the Judge of the Liberty County Court at Law and dismissed a hand full of cases including the DWI case of Glenn Vickery about a couple of years ago as I recall.

Those dismissed cases were placed back on the courts docket and eventually were judged appropriately by a visiting judge.

Is Phil’s actions today of Certifying his own name to be placed on the November ballot for County Judge, a position he is not eligible to run for, “New Phil,” or is this just more of the same from, “Old Phil?”

I can’t make up my mind!
