Major Accident on US 90 West of Devers

DEVERS, August 21, 2010 - The Devers and Hull Daisetta Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a major accident on US 90 a couple of miles west of Devers at 10:08 PM Saturday.

 

According to DPS Trooper Davis a westbound Chevy minivan was traveling in the eastbound lane and struck an eastbound Ford Expedition.

US 90 was closed to traffic for quite some time as the accident was investigated and debris removed from the roadway.

Three occupants in the Expedition, who according to Trooper Davis were from the Golden Triangle Area, were transported to Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center in Liberty for treatment of unknown injuries by Liberty County EMS.

According to Trooper Davis he was taken into custody on Driver’s License related issues and transported to the Liberty County Jail.

The driver of the minivan did not appear to be injured.
