Effective Meeting Procedures

LIBERTY, February 3, 2010 - Sponsored by the Beaumont Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians and the Texas State Association of Parliamentarians, "Effective Meeting Procedures" will be presented by Dennis Clark, PRP on February 20, 2010 at the Sam Houston Regional Library and Research Center in Liberty, Texas, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mr. Clark will present pointers on orderly, efficient, productive, and fair business meetings with emphasis on agendas, motions, amendments, bylaws and other rules.

Dennis Clark has been a Professional Registered Parliamentarian with the NAP for thirty-four years. He is a past president of the TSAP (1987-88) and has served as parliamentarian for groups as diverse as the National PTA and the National Rifle Association. Mr. Clark has taught parliamentary procedure classes and presentations on conflict resolution, leadership, and presiding skills to hundreds of different groups around the country. He is currently serving as Parliamentarian for the Texas State Association of Parliamentarians.
