Lusignolo Alleges Voting Irregularities, Levels Accusations

LIBERTY, November 5, 2010 - Liberty ISD Superintendent Dr. Cynthia Lusignolo, being dissatisfied with the outcome of the LISD School Bond propositions is now alleging voting irregularities involving Precinct 6, the Calvary Baptist Church.

As reported in the news, Lusignolo stated that Proposition 1 appears to have been defeated by the Voting in Precinct 6. Furthermore, she claims the usual number of voters at that precinct is near 20 and 280 people voted in this election.

It will be interesting to see if this massive voter fraud carried out under the noses of election workers at Precinct 6 that Lusignolo alleges can be proven or if this allegation is little more than sour grapes and wishful thinking on her part.

One i-dineout.com audience member, in a FEEDBACK REPLY, puts it this way, "The people that voted at Calvary Baptist Church are being accused of irregualaities in their voting of the LISD bond election because they voted 2:1 against the nonsense that was being offered to the voters at this particular time in our economy. Just becasue they overwhelming told LISD no and more people voted than usual-we were voting for governor, etc.-they are being accused of wrongdoing. Having lived in that area and voted in many previous elections, the LISD board should be ashamed. Maybe they cannot take NO for an answer because people in this town are having a hard time making ends meet now. I am one of those people that voted no and not against the students but because I see this town dying and I cannot afford any more tax bills as it is now."
