Man Indicted for Murder of Michael Lee Gooden

LIBERTY, October 5, 2010 - A Liberty County Grand Jury has indicted Robert Jason Logan, 34, for the Murder of Michael Lee Gooden, 33, whose body was found in a pasture behind Mr. Gooden’s residence on FM 1008 on November 4, 2009.

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation that spanned several months and involved numerous interviews of potential witnesses as well as comparison of DNA samples by the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Lab in order to bring this case before the 75th District Court.

Robert Logan is in the Liberty County Jail and no bond has been set at this time.
