According to Preliminary Reports, Lions was observed by Loss Prevention Personnel in the store placing CD’s and Movie DVD’s in her purse. Ligons was observed leaving the store with the merchandise passing all points of sale and was stopped by Loss Prevention Personnel outside the store. She was returned to the store and held until Officer Young arrived. The stolen property had a value of $86.00 according to Broussard. Ligons was taken into custody and transported to the Cleveland Police Department for processing and later transported to the Liberty County Jail. Ligons is an employee of the Liberty County Jail operated by Civigenics. She was in a jailer’s uniform at the time of her arrest.
