Lakata Club Meeting

DAYTON, November 30, 2010 - The Lakata Club of Dayton met Tuesday, November 3, 2010 in the home of Barbara Harris. Assisting with hostess duties were Frances Harris and Brenda MacDonald. President Lura Mire introduced and welcomed guests Connie Arnold and Linda Harris.

A short business meeting was held by President Lura Mire. Committee reports were given and it was announced that the December meeting would be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Lura Mire’s home for a Christmas Brunch.

There were 15 members present to enjoy the program “Celebrating Tea”. Many members donned proper attire of hats and gloves. Lindsay Smith and John Vance were introduced by Eleanor Brown. Lindsay sang several songs accompanied by John Vance on the piano.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music, delicious refreshments as well as the exquisite table décor and seating arrangements. Everything from the linens to table décor was perfect for a proper tea.
