Naming Patterns in Genealogy

LIBERTY, July 8, 2010 - The Liberty County Genealogical Society will meet Tuesday, July 20th, at 10:00 a.m. in the upstairs meeting room of the Sam Houston Regional Library and Research Center. After a business meeting, Nancy Brandli will present a program entitled, “What’s In A Name,” naming patterns and patronymics as clues to researching your ancestry. Mrs. Brandli is a past President of L.C.G.S. and a knowledgeable genealogist and will untangle the web of generational naming patterns and name derivatives during her program and help members discover their ancestry using these tools.
