House Fire in Knight’s Forest

HARDIN, December 8, 2010 – The Hardin Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire in Knight’s Forest around 5:30 AM on Wednesday.

The house was elevated on stilts and burned quickly to the ground despite fire fighters best efforts.

The fire is suspicious in nature and it is believed no one was home at the time of the fire. There were not utilities hooked up the house at the time of the fire.

According to neighbors the resident known only Gary had been staying in Liberty for the last several weeks.
