LCSO Captain Under Investigation by ATF Agents

LIBERTY, February 19, 2010 - Investigators for the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms is investigating Liberty County Sheriff’s Department Captain, Harry Kelly concerning firearms missing from the Cleveland Police Department.

In an affidavit that surfaced today used by ATF Agents to secure a Search Warrant on a Gun Range and Shooting Center in Harris County Agents outline their beliefs concerning the wrong doing of those involved.

Sheriff’ Henry Patterson has also been implicated in the investigation since Patterson and Kelly were the only two people with access to where the missing firearms were kept under lock and key.

Additionally Sportsman’s Outlet in Humble, TX and one of its owners, Gary Lee are also implicated in receiving the missing firearms from Kelly.
