Two Vehicle Accident in Moss Bluff

MOSS BLUFF, August 15, 2010 - A two vehicle major accident occurred on CR 133 N at CR 1338 south of Liberty around 5:35 PM n Sunday.

The pickup was traveling northbound and Ms. Jackson was pulling out of her driveway and failed to yield right of way colliding with the pickup.

DPS Trooper David Schmidt investigated the accident and told i-dineout.com that the Kia Sedan was pulling out of a driveway and failed to yield right of way to the northbound Chevy S-10. The vehicles collided in the roadway.

The Kia sedan was driven by Katherine Jackson age 45 of Liberty and the S-10 was driven by James Hendry age 57 of Liberty. Hendry had his 7-year-old granddaughter with him as a passenger.

All three were transported to San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown by Liberty County EMS.

All vehicles in the accident were insured according to Trooper Schmidt.

Any citations in this accident are pending further investigation by the Department of Public Safety.
