Accident FM 160 in Ames

AMES, February 16, 2010 - Liberty County EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident on FM 160 South about one mile south of US 90 in Ames around 1:30 PM on Tuesday.

According to DPS Trooper Boyd Lamb a Mercedes Coupe heading south attempted a left turn into a private drive and a Buick Sedan attempted to pass the Mercendes at the same time.

The driver of the Buick was Nicholas Dewayne Webb age 24 of Ames who was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana.

The driver of the Mercedes was Adrian Allen McGowan age 54 of Houston. Neither driver required transportation to the Hospital by ambulance.

According to Corporal Rob Willoughby Nicholas Dewayne Webb also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was cited with Failed to Pass to the Left Safely.
