Charles L. McGuire Named Chairman of the Board

AUSTIN, February 26, 2010 - At the January board meeting of First Liberty National Bank, the Board elected Charles R. Wiggins as Chairman Emeritus and Charles L. McGuire as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Wiggins has been Chairman of the Board since 1990. During his tenure, the bank has grown from $98 million to $235 million in assets. The bank opened the Dayton Financial Center to serve its Dayton customers. The bank expanded its product mix to include investments, insurance and on-line banking. Bank President, Paul Henry, stated “Charles Wiggins has provided the leadership to keep First Liberty National Bank a five star bank in strength and in service to its customers.” As Chairman Emeritus, Mr. Wiggins will remain a director.

Charles L. McGuire, Chairman of the Board, has served as a board member for twenty years. He has served as Co-Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee. He has worked closely with the management to keep First Liberty National Bank in the forefront of the community. Mr. Henry stated, “We are delighted that Mr. McGuire has been named Chairman. We have enjoyed working with him and look forward to working with him in the future.”
