Accident Travis at Cos in Liberty

LIBERTY, October 3, 2010 - A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Cos and Travis Street in Liberty around 5:20 PM on Friday.

According to investigating Officer for the City of Liberty Police Department J. M. Ewing, a white Ford Expedition traveling west on Cos disregarding the stop sign at Travis Street and struck a maroon Dodge Pickup traveling south on Travis.

The driver of the Expedition was Shannon Livingston age 34 of Ray wood and the driver of the Dodge pickup was Betty McCullough age 40 of Liberty.

City of Liberty EMS responded to the scene and transported Betty McCullough to Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center in Liberty suffering injuries to her left upper extremities.

According to Officer Ewing both vehicles were insured and Shannon Livingston was issued a citation for Disregarding a Stop Sign.
