Earthquake in Chile EDITORIAL

LIBERTY, February 27, 2010 - The Church I used to attend has seen Sunday morning attendance decline over the last several years from well over 200 to about 39 octogenarians.

They attribute this decline to Biblical prophecy. In the, “Last Days,” there will be a great, “Falling away,” so they say. They seemed content to attribute everything to the fact that we are in the, “Last Days.”

As of this morning we’ve now had two earthquakes, one in Haiti that killed a quarter of a million people in a matter of seconds and another in Chile accompanied by a tsunami that may kill thousands more.

Hell, I’m beginning to wonder if that bunch I used to go to church with may be right!
