Libertad Chapter Sponsors Lineage Research Workshop For S.A.R.

LIBERTY, August 19, 2010 - The Libertad Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and the Robert Rankin Chapter, National Society Sons of the American Revolution will host a lineage research workshop Saturday, August 28th, 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The workshop will be presented by Libertad Regent, Linda Jamison and Past-Regent, Nancy Brandli in the Price Daniel Meeting Room, behind the Cleveland-Partlow House at 2131 Grand Avenue.

All men interested in learning how to do lineage research for membership in the S.A.R. are invited to attend.

The presentations will focus on beginning genealogy and the application process, including “Is That Lineage Right?” and “Is That Service Right?” Also tips for researching in libraries and online will be included. Cost of the workshop is $10, which includes a box lunch.
