New Member Workshop Sponsored by Libertad Chapter

LIBERTY, August 12, 2010 - The Libertad Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution will sponsor a lineage research and new member workshop on Saturday, August 21st, at 1:00 p.m. in the DAR Price Daniel Meeting Room behind the Partlow House on Grand Avenue. Area women interested in membership in DAR are welcome to attend. The workshop will be conducted by Chapter Regent, Linda Jamison and Chapter 2nd Vice-Regent, Nancy Brandli. Attendees will view a short video, “The New DAR” which has been produced by the National Society, a new member orientation and a PowerPoint presentation on genealogy and lineage research which will include how and where to obtain records necessary to complete DAR applications.
