The Daughters Of The Republic Of Texas Meeting

LIBERTY, January 28, 2010 - The Franklin Hardin Chapter, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet Saturday, February 6th at 10:00 a.m. in the upstairs meeting room of the Sam Houston Library and Research Center.

Members will discuss the upcoming 119th Annual DRT Convention which will be held May 13 – 15th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Reliant Arena in Houston. Also, on the agenda will be an update on the chapter fundraising project, the Franklin Hardin Chapter Flag Pin which is for sale to all members and associate members in the state and posted on the DRT website. This project was created to fund scholarships to given to graduating, college bound students in the county.

There will also be a program presented on Texas History after the business meeting. All members are encouraged to attend.
