Cleveland Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

CLEVELAND, July 29, 2010 - On July 22, around 1 AM, Deputy C. Turrentine and other Pct. 4 deputies went to a trailer on Old Hwy105 to serve two theft of property warrants on 49-year-old Joe David Read of Cleveland.

A search of Read’s trailer revealed a syringe filled with a brown substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. A small plastic bag containing methamphetamine was also found on top of a digital scale and more was found in aluminum foil on his person.

In addition to the two warrants, Read is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (state jail felony).
