Cleveland Police Conduct Undercover Narcotic Operation

CLEVELAND, September 12, 2010 - The Cleveland Police Department recently conducted an Undercover Narcotics Operation in the Cleveland area. The operation targeted people who were illegally distributed drugs in our neighborhoods.

The investigation resulted in the arrest and felony charges filed against the following suspects:

Christopher D. Williams – Delivery of a Controlled Substance/ Delivery of Marihuana

Gabrielle M. Williams – Delivery of a Controlled Substance

Tip J. Johnson – Delivery of a Controlled Substance

Louvenia Matthews - Delivery of a Controlled Substance

6 of the cases involved the selling of Crack Cocaine, the other cases involved Ecstasy and Marijuana.

The investigation is on-going and may result in more arrest warrants being issued for narcotic related offenses.

Officers with the Cleveland Police Department will continue to aggressively seek those responsible for the sale, delivery, and possession of illegal narcotics in our community.

Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activity, possible “crack”, and “meth” dens, or any strong chemical- type odors.
