Trinity River Christmas Bird Count

LIBERTY, December 20, 2010 - The Trinity River Christmas Bird Count will be held on Tuesday, Dec 28.

We will meet at the Valero Gas station at 7:00 am at the intersection of Hwy 321 and Hwy 105, about 6 miles south of Cleveland. Bring lunch and shoes capable of getting wet.

The countdown dinner will be at the Plantation Restaurant starting around 5:00 pm on Hwy 321 near Cleveland. Reaching the 100 species mark is still our goal as we have hit 97 species on 2 occasions.

This will be a good chance to work off some calories after eating all that chocolate during the holidays. Call 936/336-9786 for any questions.
