Accident in West Woodland Hills

DAYTON, December 25, 2010 - Liberty County EMS responded to a one-vehicle accident in Woodland Hills in the 1800 block of CR 6763 around 9:50 PM on Christmas Eve.

According to the investigating DPS Trooper a white Chevy pickup traveling east on CR 6763 left the roadway and struck a culvert. The vehicle suffered heavy damage and the driver, identified as Heath Ray Baker age 23 was transported by Liberty County EMS to Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center.

The Kenefick Volunteer Fire Department assisted with the rescue of the driver and managed traffic control at the scene.

According to the investigating DPS Trooper Baker will receive citations for Failure to Control Speed due to rainy weather conditions at the time and Expired Registration.
