Suspect in Ridgewood Murder Sought by Police

LIBERTY, December 26, 2009 - Investigators working throughout the night are seeking a suspect in the capital murder of the owner of the Happy Chap Store at Ridgewood on North Main in Liberty.

The person they are looking for is considered armed and dangerous. His description is as follows:

Steve Ray “Stevie” Walder

Height: 6’-2”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Race: White
Age: 31
Sex: Male

Walder is further described as having numerous tattoos and a shaved head. He has a lightening bolt tattoo the right side of his neck and head. He has a tattoo of a skull on the left side of his neck and head and a tear drop under his right eye.

Officers are also looking for a truck described as a Green Chevy, Older model with Texas License Plate AB 1783.
