Suspicious Vehicle Fire in Liberty

LIBERTY, December 26, 2009 - Officer Josh Cummins for the City of Liberty Police Department discovered a vehicle on fire behind what used to be the Pizza Inn near the VFW Hall on Main Street in Liberty at 12:40 AM on Saturday while on patrol.

The vehicle was parked in the driveway behind the building and its location seemed very out of place at this time of night, considering the buildings are not occupied and secured.

The City of Liberty Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. The fire is considered suspicious.
