The MySpace Killer

LIBERTY, December 26, 2009 – This morning i-dineout.com published the identity and description of the suspect wanted in connection with the murder of the owner of the Ridgewood, Happy Chap Convenience Store on North Main Street in Liberty.

A warrant has been issued for Stevie R. “Bubba” Walder age 31 of Liberty, for the offense of Capital Murder.

Shortly after the story appeared on i-dineout.com an audience member called our office and told us that Walder has a page on the social networking website, MySpace.com.

We looked and sure enough Walder was there. i-dineout.com forwarded this information to Officer Hugh Bishop of the City of Liberty Police Department.

This afternoon we spoke to City of Liberty Police Chief Billy Tidwell who told i-dineout.com that his department was distributing photos from Walder’s MySpace Page to area convenience stores should he be spotted again.
