Homicide Investigation in Kenefick

KENEFICK, November 4, 2009 – Wednesday morning Liberty County Sheriff’s Department Investigators are on the scene in Kenefick investigating the death of a local resident.

Details are very sketchy at this early stage in the investigation, however, the man whose name was not released, had been missing since Sunday.

The man was found a few hundred yards behind his home in the 7400 block of FM 1008, about three miles north of the Railroad Tracks in Kenefick.

Nothing is being ruled out in the investigation at this time and this case is being investigated as a homicide.

Investigators will be working throughout the day and we hope to update this report at days end.
