AMES, October 3, 2009 - A one-vehicle accident on FM 160 North just north of FM 1909 sent the driver of a red pickup to Houston’s Hermann Hospital by Life Flight around 12:30 PM on Saturday.

According to DPS Trooper Jonathon Oduwole the driver, Sherman Broussard age 49 of Liberty was traveling south on FM 160 when the accelerator pedal on his vehicle jammed. He lost control, overcorrected sending the vehicle into the ditch rolling over on its’ side.

Liberty County EMS responded to the scene and prepared Broussard for transport by Life Flight.
