Firefighters Attend Big Rig Rescue Training

TARKINGTON, November 4, 2009 -Tarkington firefighter Eric Michael spent this past weekend in Fort Worth attending Big Rig Rescue training.

Taught by nationally renowned trainers Billy Leach and Lee Junkins, Big Rig Rescue gives firefighters hands-on experience dealing with accidents involving these types of vehicles.

With several major highways running through the Tarkington area, it is important that firefighters stay abreast of the latest rescue and extrication techniques.
