Taking Stock EDITORIAL

LIBERTY, December 28, 2009 - As we approach the end of another year it may be time for all of us to look back and take stock or inventory of how things are going and what’s happened over the last year.

Next year in March of 2010 i-dineout.com will celebrate its’ Ten Year Anniversary of service to Liberty County. It’s hard to imagine that ten years ago the few people in Liberty County who had internet access had only dial up because very little else was available at the time in our area. Our big worry in December of 1999 was Y2K and we all seemed to get through it well to a greater or lesser degree. As we approach 2010 i-dineout.com will be celebrating a milestone and we have high hopes of serving our community for many years to come.

Being a musician and a person who enjoys music we started producing some music videos for YouTube in July of 2008. Since that time we have produced ten videos for YouTube that have been viewed 9,421 times. Several have been given a 4 or 5 star rating by the audience of viewers and we hope to continue producing more of them in the coming year.

Starting in the Fall of 2008 and through 2009 we’ve added an additional Yamaha keyboard and a Johannus Organ, built in the Netherlands, to our arsenal of musical weapons to share with you and the rest of the world through the rallenyoungblood Channel on YouTube. It is a great pleasure to share our work with you, our audience and with other musicians from around the world.

As we start a new decade spend some time thinking about what you really want to accomplish with the time you have. Set your goals high, get with it and monitor the progress that is sure to come.
