Two Arrested for Possession of Ecstasy DAYTON, October 12, 2009 - According to Steve Greene of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department, On Friday, October 9, 2009, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Liberty County Sheriff's Department Narcotics and Special Crimes Unit and the Texas Department of Public Safety Narcotics Service conducted a joint investigation that culminated in the arrest of two suspects in the parking lot of a local grocery store in Dayton for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Ecstasy), a First Degree Felony.
Arrested at the scene were Karl Presley, 25 years old, and Jeremy Silva, 25 years old. Both suspects are from Houston, Texas. Approximately 1,350 suspected Ecstasy tablets and a .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun were seized from the suspects at the time of their arrest. According to Greene, the Daisetta Police Department and the Dayton Police Department were both instrumental in assisting in this investigation. |
