Cain Seeks Re-Election as Republican LIBERTY, December 28, 2009 – Long time Democrat, Judge Chap Cain is seeking re-election as a republican in the upcoming primary election in early March of 2010.

In a statement released last week, Cain stated, “For almost 20 years, decision in my court have been completely non-partisan and based on facts and law.”

“After careful consideration, I find the Republican values of family, personal responsibility, and hard work best represent the needs of Chambers and Liberty Counties, my family, and me. Therefore, I am changing my party affiliation.”

“I ask that all my faithful friends over the last 20 years continue their support of my candidacy in the upcoming election.”
